HD Accessories

     The only electrodes validated for HD stimulation.

After brain targeting, the fundamental innovation of HD-tES is the “High-Definition” electrodes: designed for safe and tolerated stimulation – every time. Only Soterix Medical HD-tES accessories are validated for High-Definition transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (HD-tDCS) and other waveforms produced by HD-MxN Platform stimulators or through 4×1 HD stimulator adaptors. The use of Soterix HD-tES electrodes is thus essential to ensure subject protection. Soterix Medical HD electrodes are compatible only with Soterix Medical stimulators.

HD-Electrode

Sintered ring HD-Electrode. Used for High Definiton, HD, stimulation in conjunction with a Soterix Medical HD stimulators, HD-GEL, HD-Cap, and HD-Electrode holders. HD-Electrodes can be used for a limited number of sessions and need to be replaced over time.

HD1 Electrode Holder

Standard Base HD-Electrode Holder for High Definition tES (HD-tES). Rated for up to 2 mA and up to 30 minutes. Only approved Soterix Medical HD-Holders, HD-Electrodes, and HD-GELs are validated. Allows generic integration with most EEG commercial systems.

HD-Cap

HD-Cap, available in Adult and Pediatric sizes. Used for High Definiton, HD, stimulation in conjunction with a Soterix Medical HD stimulators, HD-Electrodes, HD-GEL, and HD-Holders. Layout: 10-10. Available Stimulation Locations: 80

Hybrid HD Electrode Holder for High Definition tES (HD-tES and Biosemi EEG electrodes. Rated for up to 2 mA and up to 30 minutes.\ Only approved Soterix Medical HD-Holders, HD-Electrodes, and HD-GELs are validated. Dimensions:  Base Diameter- 24mm, Height- 16mm.

4×1 Input Cable

4×1 input cable for connection of a 1×1 tDCS/tES Device to a 4×1 HD-tES Device. Each 4×1 input cable has a 3-pin black cone plug at one end and two banana cables at the other end. The banana cables are color coded Anode (Red) and Cathode (Black) for ease-of-use. The input cable can be connected to a 1×1 tDCS / tES stimulator. Length: 6 feet/ 1.82 meters

MxN-33 Output Cable

MxN-33 output cable for connection of a MxN-33 device to HD electrodes. Each MxN-33 Output cable has a 9 position circular male connector on one end that connects to a receiver port on an MxN-33 device and a DIN end that allows for connection to HD electrodes. Each cable accommodates 9 channels including the reference electrode. Length: 6 feet/ 1.82 meters.

SMI USB Trigger Interface

MATLAB based Triggering Interface for Soterix Medical tDCS and High definition tES (HD-tES). This interface incorporates special driver technology for highly accurate performance. You can run your stimulus software on any supported computer and send triggers via the stimulus computers USB port. Compatible with Presentation, SuperLab and MATLAB DAQ Toolbox.

HD-tES Soft Base MRI Electrode Holder

Soft base holder for MRI compatible HD electrodes. These electrode holders are designed to alleviate scalp pressure and discomfort due to stimulation holders positioned on the back of the head during your HD-tES and MRI trial. Dimensions: Base Diameter- 25 mm, Height- 12.4 mm.

1×1 HD Connecting Cables

Holder for MRI compatible HD electrodes. Soterix Medical HD-tES MRI electrode holders are designed for use with our MRI compatible HD stimulation electrodes.Dimensions:

MxN-33 Cable Disconnector

The Cable Disconnector allows users to fully disengage the MxN system from EEG collection. With this integration, you can connect and disconnect the cables by sending either a trigger to BNC ports or bytes to a COM port. Dimensions: (H) 27.5 mm x (W) 83.12 mm x (L) 158.48 mm. Trigger pulse of at least 2.0 V but not higher than 3.4 V
